BIPOC Leaders Network

A professional network for BIPOC leaders to share their lived experiences without having to defend, manage others' feelings, or excuse the actions of others. This space supports BIPOC leaders to heal from racial harm by using practices from a co-constructed framework to decenter whiteness in their lives. Not only does this support BIPOC leaders to thrive, but also pushes systems to prioritize BIPOC voices.

  • Meets Quarterly: Oct 28, Dec 9, Feb 3, and Mar 10 from 5:00-7:00pm, in person on the Mills College, Oakland campus.
  • Open to current partners and alumni who work in schools or for schools
  • Open to all educators who identify as BIPOC

White Educators Anti-Racist Inquiry Network

Space for white educators to grapple with being racialized as white and to understand and disrupt racism in educational spaces using inquiry. By providing you with thoughtful resources and space to collaborate, you can practice locating and interrupting whiteness and racism in your personal and professional contexts and support other white educators to do the same. 

  • Meets 3 Times: Oct 29, Dec 3, Feb 4th from 5:00-7:00pm, in person on the Mills College, Oakland campus.
  • Open to current partners and alumni who work in schools of for schools
  • Open to educators who identify as white
Cohort 4 Spring 2024- Adult Learning Certificate

Lead by Learning Certificate in Adult Learning 

The program guides learners through four modules that include framing videos and writing prompts designed to deepen self-awareness and guide learners through core elements of leading adult learning. Modules are published throughout the year with completion deadlines.

  • Open to leaders of adult learning
  • Largely asynchronous featuring an online learning management system
  • Features 2-3 virtual synchronous meetings
  • Available to alumni for a small cost
